THINK Neurology for Kids in San Antonio, Tx has a wonderful staff. Very polite, patient and knowledgeable. Dr. Patricia Deforest was a pleasure to speak with. Dr. Deforest expressed genuine interest in helping Diagnose my son. I felt confident after our appointment. Thank you!

Dr Kiersz-Mueller is extremely compassionate and caring. Our visit was our first with Think Neurology, and I feel like our prayers are being answered. She listened in detail as to what our child was experiencing, and was ready immediately to move forward with a plan of care. I can't thank her enough! God is Great!

Dr.DeForest made sure to address my concerns regarding my children’s health & care. She made me aware of getting cleared diagnosis for my children as well as making sure I was okay with starting medications. I felt that I was in control of my children’s care & nothing was rushed. Although my phone died in the middle of our conversation, nothing was not explored & I look forward to working with her in the future.

We were having so many issues with our son. He is our fifth child, so we are seasoned parents and were truly at our wits end with what to do about certain behaviors. Our doctor recommended that we try THINK Neurology and Dr. Barbara was assigned to us. At our first appointment (which was virtual and so nice since we live out of town) she was so kind, understanding, and put our minds at ease that she could help us. Our son did qualify as ADHD and we started some medication, which has helped tremendously, along with some other suggestions and changes in our we respond to him. We are so thankful for her and for the amazing staff at THINK. Everyone we talk to is so kind. They are very organized and efficient. A true blessing! I have recommended them to several friends who have also received help.

I have never met medical personnel so interested in the person as a whole and looking at all sides of the situation. He is second to none in the care he takes with his patients, the compassion he holds for them, and the kindness and warmth he offers the parents. I am beyond grateful he is who we saw. I truly believe my child is in great hands and walked away having a sense of peace that she’s going to be well cared for here.

She thoroughly reviewed my son’s medical history, listened attentively to concerns, and conducted a comprehensive assessments to ensure an accurate diagnoses. The staff and their kind demeanor made our son feel at ease. Even the young man at the front desk dedicated ample time to answer questions, provide clear explanations, and make sure all aspects of our check in process as a new family to the practice was completed accurately.

Dr. Patricia DeForest is truly one of a kind! She is so specific about how she analyzes and observes her patients, but most of all her genuine positive regard for her patients is out of this world! I met her for the first time recently and she made me feel like family, as a true part of her tribe, it’s a judgement-free zone. She makes you feel confident in her expertise and that she genuinely wants to help her patients and their families flourish in their everyday environment. Our appointment with Dr. DeForest was great. She is very kind, understanding, helpful and made my son and I feel very comfortable.

We scheduled an appointment with Dr.DeForest due to our previous specialist closing, it was truly a blessing in disguise. I was so nervous due to the complexity of my child’s medical history but Dr.DeForest was AMAZING! She was very thorough, informative and patient. Her bedside manner is great, she listens to your concerns, provides different treatment options and respects whatever approach you’d decide to take. Additionally it didn’t take long to get an appointment, making it easy to schedule. The office is clean and my son got a super cute goodie bag which he loved. At the end of our visit, I got a folder with our visit note, everything else we discussed during our visit like supplements etc, which is very helpful since sometimes it can be a lot to remember. We even got a school note without having to ask, that is always nice since I tend to forget all the time. We are beyond satisfied with the care our child received. I would recommend Dr.DeForest to everyone!

My son and I had a wonderful experience at our intake appointment. Staff courteous and helpful. Doctor was thorough in regards to my son’s treatment.

My son was a patient here for a year. He had a one year follow up with his same practitioner and we waited in the virtual call for over 20 min. No one showed up on the call so I called Think and was told that the practitioner we were scheduled with no longer worked for Think. No one bothered to call me and cancel the appointment. Instead I was sent frequent reminders about the appt. After my and my sons time was wasted no one bothered to apologize. I called to complain and the only thing they said was to tell me they could scheduled my son with another doctor. Uh, no thanks. We will take our care to some place better that actually cares about helping kids rather than just the money and instagram videos.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Korah for guiding us through the necessary steps and helping us get the answers we needed for our child. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made the entire process so much easier, and it was heartwarming to see our child walk into the office with such comfort and ease.

Dr. Deforest made our visit easy, and stress free. Having had visits with other professionals in the same realm of healthcare that did not go nearly as well, I am very grateful for her bedside manner. She was great with our child, patient, and attentive. I'm thankful we were recommended to her!!

I really didn’t know what to expect from a virtual visit. Dr DeForrest has wonderful bedside and made us feel at ease while going thru a stressful time trying to figure out how to help our little one.

I have seen Robby Korah a few times now for my twins. My previous provider rushed through an appointment and I did not even realize one of my twins received an ASD diagnosis that day. Mr Korah is the complete opposite of that. For each appointment, he has gone above and beyond explaining things to me and answering my random questions. What’s better, he looks at the whole child- what is their lifestyle like, what changes can help support the child- before immediately jumping to a medication first policy. Overall, I have been extremely happy with him as a provider. His bedside manner is calm and caring whilst being knowledgeable and informative. I hope he stays at the Katy location because he is a great asset.

Dr DeForest was a great fit for the evaluation of my granddaughter! She picked up on things even I didn’t notice! Her expertise and professionalism is greatly appreciated!! Love my sons Doctor. But charging patients $10.00 for a request to fill your medicines in a prompt manner is absurd. Ultimately I paid them because my son needed the medicine, it’s not about the amount, it’s about how ludicrous it is to have to pay for a request.

Absolutely ADORE DR. Kiersz-Mueller and it has only been one visit. She was very detailed and broke everything down for us to understand. She explained why my son was manifesting certain behaviors and wants to do further testing to see how much of that is autism and how much is ADHD. I believe God closed some doors and had us step in with Think Neurology for kids and the reason is getting the best treatment for our 10 year old son.

My only complaint was they waited until the Friday before my sons Monday morning appt to send the paperwork that I had to fill out and return before the virtual appt.

Dr Walls was so professional and we could tell she is passionate about what she does. She spent a long time in the room explaining and teaching making sure we had all our questions answered. Very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions.

Our doctor is very knowledgeable, and she’s detailed, however there is always a problem with being rushed, and that’s when important details of care get forgotten or to much information too fast, which I blame on the corporation for booking to many patients, therefore causing the doctor to be in a rush! Unfortunately that’s how care is now, and it doesn’t matter how much our premiums are, because we’re getting subpar care at best. It’s a shame, because it’s all about making a bunch of money! Patients are just a number now.

Dr. Mandava seemed very sincere in wanting to know every detail about my child’s health condition. He seemed very patient with answering any questions and hearing the concerns. The Woodlands location had a more family oriented, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. I felt more at ease after todays visit and my child as well.

It was our first time coming to the office at Thinkkids, and I have nothing but good things to say. The receptionists was super sweet. The nurses in the back were as sweet also. And then FNP-C Robby Korah saw my 7 year old. He was amazing! Came in and made my son feel comfortable. Robby was very energetic and really took care of us. He answered all my questions without asking me questions, he informed us with all the details we needed to know. I was amazed by everyone's work ethic.

It was great! They make you fill out the forms in advance so you can go for the real appointment time, so ther was no waiting time. I loved the decoration of the place even before entering. Specially the incredible hulk!!!! Dr. Herbert was very good in explaining things and addressing my son, making him understand his responsibilities. Even though is strange to say this in regards to going to the doctor; I really enjoyed this visit!

Robby took his time to understand my concerns and performed a thorough exam on my son. Unlike other providers, Robby explained findings during our appointment and what to expect through the diagnosis work up of my son. I left the clinic feeling like my son was exactly where he needed to be.

First let me start with the staff they were friendly and professional. They were extremely welcoming and made you comfortable. Than when the doctor korah walk in be also was friendly and welcoming. He was kind and informative pretty much seem down to earth. Also the men who did place the lead on brain mr. shein was extremely friendly also. My experience at this place was very nice. I was so extremely stress at the time and worried. But during the visit I felt less stress cause it felt like my son was in the right place. I would say “ if your child is showing sign of autism. This is place for you. “ I’m pretty sure for any other medical condition dealing with neurology it was Professional and inviting.

Our entire visit was a very good experience. The receptionist was very friendly, as well as the staff. Dr. Jorah was attentive and also very good with Jaden. He also asked questions and actually listened to my responses. Some Doctors these days can seem to care less. So this visit was refreshing!

This place is such a life saver. I needed an evaluation for my son for school. They gave me an appt really quick. I met with Robby Korah who did an excellent job on his evaluation on my son. The staff there were extremely understanding and nice to my two boys with autism. He really pin pointed where my son needed help and was thorough on what we can do for him. Thank you!
